A fun day out!

Harley earned a certain amount of stars from school(for good behavior) and I told her she could pick something fun to do. She wanted to do a pedicure. So she and I went and had a girls day. She is so cute because she thinks she is all grown up. She is such a fun girl!

San Diego Zoo

We were able to go to the San Diego Zoo this past holiday break. We went with friends and just had a blast!!! The zoo was soooo big. The weather was awesome! And the animals were so cool.

Harley's Song

I forgot to post this for Harley. She wanted everyone to know that she is a songwriter. She showed this to her teacher and the teacher told her that it would be the classes song for the month of October...see how far behind I am at posting this!

October

In October
for a while
I will have a
happy smile.

In October
I'll be a host
to witches, goblins
and a ghost

I'll serve them
chicken soup on toast
Whippity once
Whippity twice
Whippity chicken soup
with rice!

Family Reunion

The Judd Family Reunion was a great time....so go Ma Judd. It was a reunion for all my dads brothers and sister and all their kids. Uncle Larry, Clay, Barry, Orson, Keith and Aunt Robin. It was great to see them all again. The kids were able to see all their cousins and got to make up a cheer....how did that go again Shawna?!? The little kids played tug a war against the older kids and Uncle Clay would come up at the last second and helped the little ones destroy the older ones! =) The skits were a lot of fun as well. All the grand kids were so fun to watch and really got into their parts. But I do have to say Jenna and Harley stole the show with Taylor Swifts song of "I Hate That Stupid Old Pick Up Truck You Never Let Me Drive" Whoosh you go girls. Loved IT!! Thanks again for a great time MOM! Now you can Relax! =)

Halloween

Harley was Sleeping Beauty. (Her costume was purchased at the Disney Store when it was going out of business.)
Hannah was a witch. (Which was Harley's costume Last Year.)
Hagan was a cute little bumble bee.(I found this at Marshall's and just had to have it. It has the funnest tulle under the skirt to make it all poofy.)

For Halloween this year we went to Pump It Up on Thursday night. It turned out being a lot of fun. The kids were able to jump for awhile and then they got a slice of pizza and an ice cream cone from baskin robins(they were a vendor there) Then there were vendors set up in the parking lot and the kids went trick-or-treating there. There were a good number of vendors so I didn't think the kids got jipped for not being able to go trick-or-treating on Friday. (WE were traveling to Arizona to a Family Reunion.)

Painting Pumpkins

Harley and Hannah painting their pumpkins. They did a really good job...and then they went CRAZY. I 'm learning to deal with things being not so "JUST RIGHT" They had a lot of fun....and that is what counts!

St George, UT

We were finally able to meet up with friends from Carson City in beautiful St George, UT. WoW it is such a gorgeous place. I love all that red rock.

Our friends nephew had his farewell that weekend so it was great to see all their family as well. They are this fun easy going Italian Family. They welcomed us with open arms. Thanks for that!

The girls were able to go to a place called Jumpin Jacks. It is a lot like Pump it up...but a great deal bigger. I tell you what that was a work out for me to haul Hagan up the steps to go down the slide. But it was worth it because she loved it!!!

My friend and I went to a place called Thai Pan...a home decor place. This place was huge. You can seriously be in their for hours and still not see all that there was to see. Unfortunately we did not have hours....but we did have a great time.

We also went to Zion's Park which was awesome. The leaves were changing colors. The weather was fabulous. And again the red rock was so cool. We were unable to do the tour because they did not allow pets...but we drove through and took pics. There was this tunnel that was 1.1 miles long. Every now in they had cut out a hole in the rock so it wasn't so dark!! When the girls are older I would like to go back and hike the Narrows.

We took Bo our cute dog with us. This was the first trip he has taken with us. He was really good. I never realized how many people travel with their dogs until you see them at 5:30 in the morning taking their cute dog out for a potty break. =)

Just something to make me smile!

I just have to write about Harley. When I was doing her hair this morning (an over the head ear to ear braid), I couldn't reach her. So I asked Hannah to go and get the foot stool for me. I couldn't believe just how tall she had gotten over this past summer. I kept hoping all my girls would grow up tall. But it really was a shock for me to realize that they are all growing up soooo fast.

Finally

I have been really bad getting my blogging done. This is a lot to do all at once but I know I needed to get it posted. So here it goes!

The first day of School!

The first day of school for some is so bitter-sweet. For me I'm like thank goodness!!! WE have some kind of structure again. The girls were excited to see friends again and make new ones. Harley 's main concerns were what to do about bullies. I said don't take any crap from anyone!=) She gets really tired at the end of the day because she now goes all day.

Hannah was teary eyed when I left her at Kindergarten. She kept trying to follow me out the door. Sometimes I wonder if I don't have enough emotion. Some of the Moms were crying more then the kids were. I was like heck ya I have two in school now! But I told Hannah gently but firmly that she would have a blast if she would stay and tried it out. Then I all but bribed her with ice cream. What can you do?!?

I must say that it is very quiet at my house at times. But Hagan and I are having fun with the one on one time together. Mike keeps asking me if I'm going to go back to work when Hagan is in school. I just smile and say we will cross that road when it get here!

Bo "Bodacious" Lofgreen

Meet our new addition. Bo "Bodacious" Lofgreen. Harley and Hannah have been so scared of dogs for I don't know how long. So we thought if we got a cute little dog they would slowly come to love him.
At first they would run and jump on the nearest thing to get away from Bo when he was down and running around the house. Harley started holding him as long as he stays perfectly still. Then Hannah started holding him. But they still run to the furniture when he is out.
Then there is Hagan. She absolutely loves him. She loves to boss him around and say "NO BO". So one out of three love this little guy. But I still have hopes for Harley and Hannah

Fashion Show

Bart and Bon have started a tradition of getting all the families together and having a fashion show. IT can get pretty funny. The boys were so fun to watch because they really got into it showing off their new duds. They don't have a uniform to where so their clothes were fun to watch come down the run way. SOOO I thought it would be fun to have one for my girls. WE invited a few friends and put on a back to school fashion show. The girls really got into it. It was fun to watch them pose and walk the walk. They were all so cute!

Our Week to Arizona!

There is always so much to do when we go to Arizona. Both mine and Mike's family live there. I always think that I can fit it all in but it isn't always possible. The girls were able to go swimming a lot with their cousins. Harley was able to sleep over at Jennas' a few nights. Thanks Jenna for including Harley. She always thinks she is such a big girl to stay with the older cousin. Hannah and Danika love each other sooo much that they always have to throw a fight in their just to keep it REAL!! Hope and Dave are so good to invite my girls to play at their house. They love to go over there because there is always something fun to do. Like that huge water slide you got. HOLY COW how fun was that. We would love for them to come and stay ar our house sometime.
I don't know if i can make it back there until Thanksgiving! You guys always wear me out!

Aunt Audra looking robust with cutie Maddie.

Grandma Lofgreen with Kyra, Kamri, and Hagan making sure none of her grandkids drown. Thanks Grandma!!

Hannah and Danika keeping it real!

Ma Judd finally had her other knee operated on. I remember she had her first one done a couple of months before Hagan was born. I was so grateful that she healed so nicely that she could come and see us in Carson City. She's always so willing to come and help! What a MOM!
She made it home. Thank goodness Dad is there to help her get around. MoM said that she couldn't have done it without him. Way to go Dad! That knee sure looks like it hurts!

Poor Hagan grabbed my hot flat iron. I felt sooo bad. She thought that it was fun to push on the bubble it made. That was after she was done sobbing big buckets of tears.

I can see! I finally had Lasik done on my eyes. I'm so excited that I don't have to wear glasses any more! My eyes are a little dry still but it is so neat to be able to see without my glasses. I keep wanting to reach out and put them on, and then I realize I don't need them. It's simply fantastic!

Sister RETREAT

We finally did it!! A sisters RETREAT. It was great! It was lovely! And I left all my kids home with MIKE!! Thanks for the break Mike! We all met up in Mesa, AZ and then made our way to Prescott, AZ. We stopped at Chilli's to eat lunch but it was raining so hard and then it started hailing. It was just crazy!! Then we went to downtown Prescott. Very cute and quaint town. When we were walking around the court house on the grass we looked down and there was a python. So Shawna had to feel it. Cody did to but I didn't get a picture of that. Sorry! Next day we hit the shopping mall running! I haven't shopped like that since High School when your money seemed to stretch a little farther. I never thought that I would be sick of shopping. That is pretty sad. But we were able to help Adele get some cute clothes. She doesn't like to shop like we do so we helped her out. Jody, Bon, and I had to have a pedicure first. Very nice. I tried to talk them into doing the hot pink tips but they were not having it. That night we went to a Dinner and a comedy deal. We weren't sure what to expect. The dinner was pretty good. The comedy turned out to be pretty fun. When we got there we weren't sure if we hit senior night or not. But it was a lot of fun. They sang, dance, and threw in some comedy. My sister fell in love with a short bald singer.(I won't mention any names) We had to hold her back. LOL The last day was on to more shopping. We had to go back to all the stores that we wanted to buy this certain something and didn't. Exhausting!! =) Audra I didn't say anything about you so thanks for sharing cut little Maddie with us. She was a cutie. Ma Judd you were great. Thanks for keeping the peace and putting up with all our attitudes. Cody thanks for getting it all together you ROCK! Can't wait until next year. Oh ya I have to say that they had the best chocolate store ever, and I ate all of it!!

You Rock Harley!

Harley you ROCK! You Graduated from Kindergarten! YA!! Glad you are moving on. I told her she can't get detained because Hannah is right behind her! =)

Harley is all grown up. It makes me happy and sad at the same time. She loved school. I think she is going to be like her aunts and be a little social butterfly. According to her teacher Mr Murry, "She loves to talk to her friends instead of getting her work done." She is going to miss her friends. Daniella lives in New York half of the year and then comes to Palm Desert the other half. Rene is going to Mexico for the summer. So she will be excited to see them the next school year. We have gotten to now Keanu and is mom Jennifer. They gave harley and Mr. Murry the beautiful lays for graduation. (They were real flowers) They have been a lot of fun. She was one of the tallest kids in her class. I keep telling her she is going to be my volleyball player!! She is really excited to go into the First Grade. We are all proud of you my sista!!!!
